MASTERSON’S STA WET PALETTE
Masterson’s Sta Wet palette is great for keeping your paints moist. These sheets lay on top of a thin sponge like sheet that you moisten, thus keeping the paints moist. The Masterson’s case is made of plastic and lid fits securely tokeep the sponge and paper moist if you don’t use all the paint at one time. I recommend this and have used these sheets for a number of years.

Long lasting
As an acrylic painter, these are an absolute necessity. Living in the Southern California High Desert, the humity is usally 10% so they’re absolutely necessary with the wet pad underneath. They’re also washable, so I can extend their use washing them 2 – 3 times before needing a new one.

Better than parchment paper
I paint a lot of miniatures. Anything from 28mm scale to 75mm and above. Also busts. I tried the Masterson wet palette with the original reusable (washable) paper. I was pleased with it. Then I kept seeing how quite a few people liked the palette but not the paper so, they would change it with baking paper. In the USA that is parchment paper. I tried it for a pretty good while. I went back to the Masterson’s original reusable paper.Follow the instructions on how to “set the paper up.” I am referring to the soaking the paper in very hot water for about 5 minutes.

Used with a layer of damp sponge, this paper keeps acrylics damp for a number of days. I use a palette with tightly fitting lid.

たっぷり水を吸わせたスポンジにこのパレットを載せて使用します。私はドールメイクにアクリルガッシュを使用しておりますが、このパレットと塗料の硬化を遅くするメディウムを併用しないと、乾くのが早すぎて塗りにくいです。筆を傷めない為にも必需品です。ウエットパレットに出した塗料は、しっかり蓋をしておけば丸一日は柔らかいままなので、無駄なく使えきれるのもいいですね。
