Achingly honest
There are few modern poets that speak to me on a personal level, I’m so glad I came across this poet by accident. Their style, bluntness, honesty and word structure makes every poem feel as though it’s seeping into your bones. Every woman can relate to the themes of violence, societal pressures and self-loathing. This is a book of poems I would recommend to any young coming of age girl or woman who has never had their thoughts and fears articulated. Beautiful collection!

Beautifully written insights into the life of being a woman
I saw this book on Tik Tok and immediately bought it. It lived up to my expectations. Mya is a wonderful author and the book spoke beautifully to my soul. I practically tabbed every page. I’ve experienced so many of the things that the poetry touched on and it reminded me that I’m not alone and the struggles I face while being a woman is a universal experience. I would recommend this book to every woman, but also men too who are looking to understand more of what it is like to walk in the shoes of a woman.

Beautifully written. With powerful word choice and hard hitting life examples, it’s a favorite of mine now. Lookout world Mya G Wolf is here to make change.

It was okay
Finished it in one sitting, even wrote my notes and all in just one day. Good poems but a lot of them were very repetitive, author still does a good job on expressing emotions

Loved this book
I’m a sucker for all poetry books but it’s not often I can relate to every page. This book had me contemplating my life’s existence and running through memories in my head, but in a new way, if that makes sense. This book has altered my pattern of self deprecation. I keep it on my nightstand now and have been reading my favorite pages over and over. Easy to read and hits right in the feels, 10/10.

Es sind viele kleine Kurztexte, welche entweder sehr zutreffend sind oder zum Nachdenken anstoßen

1 star because honestly, most of it didn’t feel like poetry at all and just shallow remarks and statements. Nothing that made me go “wow beautiful” just generic and boring. Do not recommend.

Il se lit très vite, mais c’est le premier livre où j’ai mis des annotations et des post-it pour me rappeler. Je me suis sentie comprise à un autre niveau en le lisant, les termes sont dits.
