I did a TON of research before buying this blow dryer as I’ve spent the past 5 or so years buying blow dryers that go bad within a year. I wanted something that would uphold for the long term. Now, I can’t speak for how long this will hold up as I’ve only had it for about a month but I can say this has already exceeded my expectations, despite my hesitations. I can confidently say there’s a reason this nearly has 5 stars on Amazon. You can tell when you take it out of the box how sturdy and well made it is.Pros:I have fine hair but a ton of it. It usually takes my hairdresser 30-45 to dry/style my hair. I’m impressed with how quickly this hairdryer dries my hair. About 15-20 mins to fully dry/style and 5 mins for a damp dry- perfect for when I dry it before putting in my band for heatless curls.It’s more lightweight than the other blow dryers I’ve had. Huge plus, as I’m a mom of multiple kids and my wrists are fairly weak from holding kids the last 5+ years. Usually my wrists get kind of tired and stiff after blow drying but I don’t have that issue with this blow dryer.The noise is quiet/normal. I’ve seen reviewers complaining about how it’s too loud but I actually disagree. It’s a blow dryer so yes, it’s going to make noise but I find it on the quieter side.There’s 3 heat settings. The hottest setting doesn’t get as hot as previous blow dryers I’ve had and I initially was skeptical at how quickly I could dry my hair. But on the hottest setting my hair dries very quickly.Many people have said the ion technically makes their hair shinier than other blow dryers. I’ve noticed a little bit more shine but it’s not insanely shinier. Just a little bit. Still, I appreciate it.My hair is also less frizzy when drying. I’m assuming that’s a combination of the heat level being less and it drying quicker. For my last hair dryer, I had hotter heat and had to blow dry for longer leaving my hair much more frizzier. I don’t have that issue with this one so it’s a huge plus.I’ve used both diffusers included and they work perfectly. I have wavy hair and it’s really easy to use the wider diffuser to make my hair “curlier”. The more narrow diffuser is great (the one in my picture) but my ONLY con of this drier is that you must secure it tightly or it will fly off lol it flew off and hit my head once in the dozen times I’ve used it.Okay so overall I think it works great. I air dry my hair most of the time and have noticed less frizz when are drying since using this blow dryer. I think that speaks to how good it is for you hair. Price is excellent for what you’re getting. I wish my hairdresser had this blow dryer so she could style my hair faster when in the salon lol10/10.

Nice array of settings,easy to change. Sturdy and well-made. Happy to have the ionization again (last hairdryer died and had to use a very old basic one–what a difference in how it effected my hair!). This is on the heavier side due to material it is made of, so if you are seeking something light, look eslewhere. One star off for placement of the “cool shot” button as it is annoyingly placed where I hold the dryer, easily pressed, and I inadvertently press it too often!
