Delicious!
I recommend this whey protein powder. It is delicious. A lot of powders leave a bad aftertaste, but this one doesn’t. It blends into my smoothies well, makes them taste great, and I am planning to stick to this brand and flavor. I love vanilla, and this vanilla ice cream flavor makes it just that more of a plus. If you are in search of a good protein powder and you’re hesitant on this one, I say, give it a try.

Best vanilla flavored whey powder I’ve found
That indescribable yet easily identifiable “whey” flavor generally keeps me from using powders that don’t have a strong flavor to cover it up (e.g., chocolate).It isn’t a perfect substitute for a vanilla milkshake – that whey flavor is still there – but it’s very close, especially if using milk. Great for making strawberry shakes with frozen berries, too. Alone, the powder mixes well after just shaking it in a blender bottle for a minute or so. No lumps or grainy texture.Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes if you like a thicker shake.Note: Make sure you purchase the “vanilla ice cream” version. The “french vanilla” is completely different, with a strong whey flavor.

Amazing and tastes great!
I love this stuff. I was nervous about getting into drinking protein as I heard horror stories. but this stuff is very filling (i mix it with my Greek yogurt for lunch and drink the powder with water daily). Its pretty good quality, not too thick or anything. texture wise, goes down as smooth as milk. Mix it with vanilla greek yogurt for a sweet yet healthy snack.

Good stuff, but….
I started buying this product, after trying a few others, for my bedridden dad. His healthcare team said he could use some extra protein in his diet, and he won’t eat a lot of food, so I thought a whey protein would be perfect for him, and it is! I put a scoop in his coffee every morning and he LOVES it. It’s basically creamer and there are quite a few flavors. After trying multiple flavors, we have found Vanilla Ice Cream to be the best for our needs. It also breaks down easier in coffee. I tried to make a drink with cold water and it was really clumpy and not palatable. The price is good for the amount. A 24 servings lasts us a month. He has started healing faster, has more energy, and even though he is bedridden, his overall health has improved considerably after using this for a few months. If you were going to use this to build muscle, I think it would work, but you’d need to use a blender, and mix it with some warm water and maybe some ice after it’s broken down so it would be smooth by the time you got to the gym. That’s the only reason I give I 4 stars instead of 5.

This is the protein I use the most and really like. I went with the vanilla flavor, and it tastes so good. It has 24 grams of protein per serving and mixes super easily—no clumps at all. It’s also easy to digest. I got the 5-pound tub, and it lasted me a long time. Plus, it’s gluten-free

Great product, best protein I’ve ever bought.
I ordered the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor to use as a protein base and I’ve gotta say, definitely not bad! The other protein powders I have tried over the years have had a very weird taste to them, that…. Chalky taste… 🤢 So I always had to doctor it up really hard to make it palatable. I did my first shake with it as a test, I only used water and a little bit of cinnamon powder with it and I am comfortably drinking it, no complaints. It’s a decently strong protein content mix, very low sugar, tastes great, can’t wait to see how I feel using this one as my start of day protein and my post work out protein.

When it comes to protein and supplements Optimum Nutrition has been my go to for years now. This stuff tastes delicious no matter which flavour, despite my bias towards the vanilla ice cream.Perfect as a standalone shake, protein oats, protein smoothie, etc.I personally opt for the smoothie method most times and if you’re interested I’d recommend mixing this with; frozen blueberries, greek yoghurt, milled flax, almond milk and fresh strawberries. (Ice added to thicken if needed, and measurements/ingredients adjust per your macro/diet requirements and or taste preferences). Pop it all in a blender and you have what the grimace shake should’ve been and a clean version at that.10/10 whey protein.

After experimenting with other protein powders, I finally tried the Gold Standard. Wow, what a difference it makes to your protein supplement experience. Mixes extremely well (I use a Voltrx Gallium), most time 30 seconds is enough, sometimes I go for 60 seconds. Smooth, slightly creamy, no lumps, and tastes great. I wont buy any other brand as I am done ‘experimenting’.
